This paper presents an analysis of the concept of sociocritical pedagogical practices within the New Mexican School framework based on conceptual cartography. It concludes that these practices are transformative actions that seek to develop critical individuals committed to social transformation through dialogue, reflection, and action on their reality. They are characterized by emphasizing the decolonization of knowledge, the recovery of community wisdom, the problematization of reality, critical thinking, and education for social participation.
