The objective is to determine the relationship between Perception of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Competencies in students of a public university in Peru. The approach is quantitative. The technique is the survey, applied through two questionnaires to a sample of 325 students. The result is a p_value=0.001, indicating that there is a relationship between the variables. In conclusion, students perceive the importance and need for the development of digital competencies for the optimal use of artificial intelligence tools.
