The study analyzes the influence of social health factors on the nutritional status of children under two years of age in the province of Santa Elena, using a cross-sectional study of 326 cases of ENDI-R2 and a logistic regression model. It was found that low maternal education significantly increases the risk of malnutrition. Therefore, promoting maternal education and improving access to basic services are essential for healthy child development.
