Digital transformation has enhanced the efficiency, accessibility, and transparency of health services through digital governance. This literature review analyzes 23 studies (2021-2025) from Scielo and WoS. Advancements are evident in telehealth, virtual appointments, and electronic health records; however, limitations persist in interoperability, data security, digital gaps, and citizen participation. It is concluded that inclusive policies, technological infrastructure, and training are key to consolidating an equitable and sustainable healthcare system.
