Resumen
RODRIGUEZ-GUZMAN, Manuel A. et al. ICT and Teaching Performance: Self-Perception and Student Evaluation in a Technological Higher Education Institute in Trujillo (Peru). Espacios [online]. 2025, vol.46, n.6, pp.62-74. Epub 30-Ene-2026. ISSN 0798-1015. https://doi.org/10.48082/espacios-a25v46n06p06.
The study analyzed the relationship between ICT use and teaching performance in Trujillo (Peru) with 50 teachers and 320 students. A significant positive correlation was found (ρ=0.39-0.52; p<.01), although teachers rated themselves higher than students did. Student perception of ICT use showed a greater association with performance (R²=.22) than self-perception (R²=.15). It was concluded that student feedback is key and that teacher training should reinforce the TPACK model.
