NUNEZ, Gisela C. y MONTERO, Yilena. Design of a Social Management System for the Technical University of Cotopaxi, Ecuador: A Theoretical Proposal. Espacios [online]. 2025, vol.46, n.6, pp.221-235. Epub 30-Ene-2026. ISSN 0798-1015. https://doi.org/10.48082/espacios-a25v46n06p19.
The article proposes a Social Management System (SGS) for the Technical University of Cotopaxi, aiming to strengthen its role in regional social development. Using a quantitative approach based on a survey of 182 members and normative analysis, the study identified strengths in university outreach and social responsibility, alongside weaknesses in volunteering and continuing education. The SGS, grounded in relevance, interculturality, sustainability, and continuous improvement, seeks to systematize and evaluate engagement, aligning with national standards and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
