The study, using a correlational design and a quantitative approach, examined the relationship between film pedagogy and academic motivation in first-year high school students. The results showed means of 67.47 and 71.01 for film pedagogy and academic motivation, respectively. A positive, significant, and moderate correlation was found between the two variables (rs=0.403; p<0.001). These findings suggest that film pedagogy is a promising educational tool for enhancing academic motivation.
