This study reviews 15 Scopus papers with the aim of identifying the impact of enterprise architecture (EA) on organisational transformation in higher education institutions (HEIs). The results show that EA modernises, optimises and innovates processes, and enables migration to more secure digital environments. It is concluded that EA is a strategic tool that aligns the institutional mission with the demands of the academic environment, strengthening competitiveness and educational quality.
