This study conducts a comparative analysis of educational chatbots in higher education, utilizing a systematic review under the PRISMA protocol. It synthesizes qualitative and quantitative data from 14 selected studies. The results highlight the acceptance of chatbots for personalization and pedagogical improvement, as well as technical and ethical challenges. It is concluded that these virtual assistants are an innovative tool with the potential to transform university education globally.
