The study assessed how strategic foresight influences the competitiveness of Andean food-processing firms. SWOT, PESTEL, the Schwartz scenario matrix, a relevance tree, and Spearman’s correlation were applied. Perceptions were collected from 66 executives. Findings showed strong market knowledge and recognition of public-sector opportunities, alongside concern about political instability and a shift toward eco-friendly products. Strategic foresight was positively associated with competitiveness and organizational situational status; therefore, greater emphasis on managerial strengthening and regulatory compliance was recommended.
