This research presents a comparative analysis of dairy product packaging (private label and premium brand) as a pedagogical resource in higher education. It introduces an analytical tool designed to help students critically interpret visual messages, developing competencies for future designers. The tool can be applied to a broader range of sectors and products. Based on a real case, the proposal fosters active learning and educational innovation by integrating professional resources into the classroom.
