The article analyzes a pedagogical experience between Industrial Design subjects at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile, in relation to the Michelle Peña Nursery. Technical, social and adaptive skills are promoted through Learning and Service approaches, highlighting interlevel collaboration and situated work. The methodology combined qualitative and quantitative techniques. The main findings note that this practice enhances the transformative role of future designers by articulating university education with real needs of the community.
