Industrial engineering is a profession that has had to evolve alongside the advancements of the industrial revolutions, requiring skills to adapt to a changing work environment. This study details the design and validation of a research instrument that analyzes the degree of perception among industrial engineering students regarding professional competencies with a focus on Industry 4.0. The procedure includes content validity analysis and a preliminary reliability analysis.
