This study analyzed the relationship between the use of artificial intelligence and perceived benefits among 46 Auto Mechanics students at a technical institute in Loja, Ecuador. The research was quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional, based on two Likert scale questionnaires. The results showed moderate levels of AI exploration, use, and evaluation, as well as perceived usefulness, without a significant correlation to perceived benefits. This suggests the need for pedagogical guidance to facilitate its effective use.
