The article examines the expansion of full-time education in the Integrated Economic Development Region of the Petrolina and Juazeiro Hub (2020-2024), articulating public funding, federative inequalities, and municipal capacity. With a mixed approach - School Census, Siope and normative analysis - it finds growth in enrollments, especially in the hub cities, but also territorial asymmetries and dependence on federal inductions. It concludes that full-time education reduces inequalities when associated with additional funding, planning and pedagogical project aimed at integral education.
