The coordination of the subject “Redacción de Informes” of the Faculty of Engineering observed the need to orientate the subject to the processing of technical texts. Once it was clear from what theoretical and pedagogical perspective to undertake the learning process in relation to textual production, we elaborated the proposal. This proposal was presented to the head of the Departamento de Enseñanzas Generales, and was approved. The main points in the proposal were: Reasons, Justification, and Procedure. Then, we designed the program for the subject: justification, objectives, contents, didactic-methodological strategies, evaluation strategies and bibliography. These conventional entries were undertaken from the theoretical and pedagogical described before. Finally, we elaborated an instructional manual with two fundamental objectives: to guide the unified work of the teaching team, and to get input for a macro project of textual production in the Faculty. The manual consists on instructional scripts, one for each class session. These scripts contains the objective to reach, the activities to carry out (including evaluation), the materials to be used, and the bibliography with which the teachers would strengthen their training.
