Resumen
ZERPA, CARLOS ENRIQUE. ETHICS, SOCIAL CAPITAL AND DEVELOPMENT IN ENGINEERING EDUCATION: A PEDAGOGICAL PROPOSAL. Rev. Fac. Ing. UCV [online]. 2012, vol.27, n.3, pp.061-070. ISSN 0798-4065.
Fundamentals considerations about the human formation in Engineering, specially referred to ethics and the social responsibility of professionals of this area, are presents in this paper. Incorporating human development instruction, this approach include ideas of ethical, share capital and developmental program coordinated by the Inter-American Development Bank (I.A.D.B.) about enterprise social responsibility, in this particular case, applied to processes of academic studies in the university context. The paper proposes a referential framework in Engineering context in order to generate social voluntary action and reflection about social responsibility of science over three principles: to de-construct; to fund; and to re-construct the subjective ethical complex space vinculed to profession. Implications for curriculum in the University are discussed.
