The main structure of the new Cuban seismic network is presented, emphasizing on the technological update and detailing the elements which are part of the broadband, short period and strong motion networks. Technical specifications of the instruments, seismometers calibration, installation, networking and tuning are specified. Finally, some examples of earthquakes recorded by this network are presented.
