This study aims to examine Quine’s objections to modal logic. The study provides evidence that such objections are directed at propositional and quantified forms. As Quine, does not intend here to present solutions, but only to raise the issues that your work has identified. This text is based mainly on the important study by Jaime Nubiola entitled The Essential Commitment of Modal Logic: A Study of Quine and Kripke. Initially, we presented the six objections to Quine, then, will be made by analysis of their assumptions.
