The aim of this essay is to analyze Bergson’s view in relation to the conscious experience. Reviewing the works of the author in which the issue of conscious experience is treated, it becomes noteworthy that the author lacks precision in his arguments and concepts but, this is our share, the ideas expressed through his writings are worthy of an interpretative work. This essay is an exposition of the fundamental elements needed for an appropriate point of view on Bergson. This path will allow us to visualize the character of the author’s dualistic thesis, so as his position facing the mind-body problem.
