Resumen

BARROSO, Milagros M. Popperian falsifiability: an inductive attempt to evade the induction. EPISTEME [online]. 2016, vol.36, n.1, pp.29-40. ISSN 0798-4324.

In this paper I expose Karl Popper's falsificationist proposal as a result of his solution to the problem of induction. In this sense, I analyze it under its two aspects, the logical and methodological. The idea behind of it is to show, firstly, that his logical solution to the problem of induction is completely independent of the methodological criteria proposed for the choice between rival theories, and secondly, that the latter constitute a transgression to his purported exclusion of induction in scientific practice.

Palabras clave : Induction; Falsifiability; Methodological Rules.
