The objective of this research was to evaluate the effects of levels of digestible lysine on performance of swine growth initial of swine fed with rice byproducts diets. 40 crossover piglets Landrace x Large White x Pietrain of 25,00 ± 5,66 kg body weight were used. Swine were allotted in randomized blocks with four levels of lysine supplemented HCl (0,00; 0,191; 0,382 e 0,573%) for experimental diets 0,717; 0,867; 1, 017 e 1,167% of digestible lysine. The treatments were constituted for isoproteic and isoenergetics supplemented of L-lysine. The experimental phase was of 28 days. The daily gain weight for treatments with 0,717; 0,867; 1, 017 e 1,167% of digestible lysine was 0,710; 0,746; 0,784 e 0,750 kg respectively. The lysine levels had a quadratic effects on average gain weight and feed conversion and lineal effects on feed intake, lysine intake and energy intake. For maximum daily gain it was determined a digestible lysine requirement of 1,009 for swine from 25 to 45 kg of body weight fed rice byproducts
