This study consists in an experimental research with pre test, post test and control group that intended to determine the effects of a Virtual Learning Community (VLC) as diffusion strategy of Distance Education (DE) based on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and a tool to generate possitive attitudes to this teaching-learning modality in the professors of traditional venezuelan university. The results contribute to obtain evidences of VLC potentialities as diffusion media of DE and as instrument to generate positive attitudes toward DE.
