We are currently witnessing the re-emergence of methods that affect aspects ofthe teaching-learning situation such as dictation, the teacher-centered explicative class and learning by memorization, whose aim has been to transmit and tie down notions and concepts through activities such as drawing, tracing and copying. In the case of the teaching of geography, apart from the transmission of knowledge, other options have been put forward that facilitate interaction with the subject and the development of other areas of knowledge based on aspects of our daily life, through the use of dialogue, information taken from the mass media, our day-to-day experience and field study.
