ROMERO H, Nick A y MONCADA R, José A. Didactic model for teaching environmental education in Venezuelan higher education. Rev. Ped [online]. 2007, vol.28, n.83, pp.443-476. ISSN 0798-9792.
The aim of this study was to develop a didactic model for teaching Environmental Education in Higher Education. The model is divided into two levels: one conceptual and the other methodological. The first level consists of guiding principles, among which mention should be made of the paradigm of complexity, sustainability and interdisciplinarity. It also gives weight to environmental problems at world and regional levels. Furthermore, it considers the legal aspects of Environmental Education along with interdisciplinary and constructivist approaches. The methodological level stresses pedagogical aspects, including the interests of the students themselves, as well as including university curriculum guidelines.
