The environmental interpretation offers the opportunity to communicate to national parks visitors the values of natural and cultural resources of the areas. These objectives of this paper are to design a guided tour aimed at visitors of Los Venados Recreative Area and to evaluate the immediate impact. This work is a feasible project supported by a documentary and fi eld research structured in two parts: the design of the activity and the determination of participants’ judgment in the guided tour and the immediate impact. The visit subject was the environmental benefits that offer El Avila National Park to people. After the guided tour, the participants mentioned the majority of the benefits tackled during the activity. Moreover, they indicated that they would be ready to help with the conservation of the National Park and valued it by the environmental benefits that it brings them.
