This investigation had as purpose to design and to evaluate the influence of a software for learning chemistry reactions with the Science, Technology and Society approach and difference between the three levels of chemistry, for introductory courses of Chemistry in the Instituto Pedagógico de Caracas. Its methodology corresponded to an instructional development. The obtained sample correspond to twenty two students of the biology and chemistry programs of the IPC. It was found that: in the formative evaluation these opinions resulted favourables on its interaction, restrained and design of software. In the sumative evaluation, we observed in the majority of the students, an increment in the califications of the posttest, compared with the pre-test.
