Day by day the TIC, increase the impact they have in different contexts, specifically on the educative; teachers and students have the chance of a wide rank of possibilities in the use of these technologies, but to achieve them, it is necessary to have and master knowledge, bases and principles to guarantee a refl exive and critical incorporation between the new educative context generated by the so called Knowledge and Information era. It is referred to the relation there must be between Instructional Design (ID) and Technologies of Information and Communication in Education (TICE), as well as the possibilities of implementation of any instructional design model using TICE. It also presents the analysis of some assumptions about this relation; some key elements were established with the purpose of analyzing the previous relation, and they are: a) Learning Theories; b) Instruction Theories; c) Instructional Design Approaches; d) Technologies of Information and Communication in Education; e) Walter Dick and Martin and Reigeluth Instructional Design Models.
