PEREZ, Yenny y RAMIREZ, Raquel. Instructional Development for maths problem solving teaching for first grade teaches of basic school. Case San Ignacio College. Revista de Investigación [online]. 2008, vol.32, n.65, pp.123-148. ISSN 1010-2914.
The purpose was to determine the knowledge that first grade teachers of The San Ignacio College had upon teaching math problem solving and to propose an instructional design in order to satisfy their needs in this subject matter. The study of needs was carried out according to Muller´s Model (2003). The results show lack of knowlede of teachers about maths solving teaching strategies for their studentes. The instructional design of the solution, that is ofrered here, consist of a printed instructional material which has two important aspects: a) relevant information about maths problem solving and teaching strategies; b) a creative problem source, organized from simple to complex. This material pretends to attend your needs in the area and, at the same time, to provide a problem guide that can be used by students.
