CALZADILLA DE A, Angela Beatriz. Art, education and creativity. Revista de Investigación [online]. 2009, vol.33, n.66, pp.65-84. ISSN 1010-2914.
The formation of the venezuelan since the spanish invation, has been subjected to the rigor of the conqueror inquisitor and to the abuse imposed by neoliberal hegemonic cultures. Subjection that has impeded and diminished the cultural values and the expressive and creative potential of the native, generating with it, mimetic behaviors which block the harmonious and authentic development of the individual, as well as, his social comportment in the construction of his reality. What it is posed here, it is the educative necessity to develop the perceptive, expressive and creative potentialities of the child and the adolescent, through the use of the right hemisphere of the brain in the artistic practice, hemisphere that allows to unchain without pressure the own potentialities of every human being, at the same time, it uncorks the psychological block of not being able to express himself, make and create. This liberation will convert him in a harmonious, expressive, participant and creative being in his real and social environment.
