The Paper Recycling Program of Simón Bolívar University (USB) has by purpose of collecting, of gathering together and of selling the residual paper and to develop in the university students pro-environmental attitudes. The actions were: a) diagnose the amounts of residual paper, b) establishment of the strategies for segregation of different paper types and their storage; c) spreading of paper recycling importance to university community, and; d) estimation of project indicators. The results indicate that 3,110 kg of paper were recycle. Financial resources obtained were use to continuity of project. Additionally, resulted in environmental sensibilition of 345 students of different specialities and stimulation in environmental subjects of internal dependencies in USB.
