Research is the formulation of approaches and theorizations over a video artistic proposal of the city of Caracas as a form of sensitive knowledge: it has as a proposal the confrontation between the existing and known reality with the represented one, through out observation, experimentation and practice of the neologism “trayective” introduced by Paul Virilio. He emphasizes the study, in an urban sense, in the route, in living the way, different from the inquiry focused only on the discourse or the theory far from the object’s study. This research proposes the following theoretical approaches, combining artistic praxis and hermeneutical method (relevant to the field for interpreting texts and documents with the purpose of constructing theoretical approaches of the artistic. At the same time the results allowed to precise theories, concepts and ideas related with the identity elements of Caracas’ reality, becoming in a starting point for other similar investigations.
