The specialist teacher learning difficulties (DA) must be one of the key players and advocates the creation of inclusive schools for dealing with diversity. One of the pioneers of home study training of these professionals is the Pedagogical University Experimental Libertador Pedagogical Institute of Caracas. (UPEL- IPC). This study was designed to determine the relevance of teacher training in the DA-IPC UPEL towards the development of inclusive schools for the attention to diversity, concluding with the need to revise the curriculum of this specialty with the aim of include skills training where differences are valued and diversity as core elements of schooling.
