The purpose was to analyze the interactions in an asynchronous discussion group during the development of a forum mediated by the web in a university educational context, specifically in a preparatory course for those aspiring to enter the Master of Technology and Development Instruction at the IPC_UPEL. The qualitative descriptive study, based on the model of qualitative content analysis (Mayring, 2000). The most relevant findings of the investigation can be summarized as: (a) interventions unrelated to the task (57.9%) task-related interventions (42.1%). (b) the interventions related to the task is clear that the largest percentage of contributions is divided between the arguments (54.05%) and evaluation (35.15%). Through qualitative analysis established the importance that participants gave to the application of ICT in the instructional process and teacher training.
