Investigation Action Participative where teaching strategies were designed for the use of norms of security and industrial hygiene in the laboratory of I upset machines of the School of Mechanical Engineering of the Central University of Venezuela. The population participation center was integrated by the workers, professors and students of the school. The objective this directed toward the transformation of the community through the sensitization in the daily works as for the risks that can be avoided through the employment of the norms of security and hygiene and this way to promote the taking of conscience has more than enough security and industrial hygiene. Finally, one can affirm that through this investigation a first step was achieved toward the autonomy in the management of prevention of risks of the community.
