Resumen
UMBARILA CASTIBLANCO, Ximena. Theoretical foundations for designing and developing teaching units connected to Chemical solutions. Revista de Investigación [online]. 2012, vol.36, n.76, pp.133-158. ISSN 1010-2914.
This article presents theoretical foundations for designing and developing 3 written lessons to teach the following three different types of concepts related to chemical solutions: qualifiers, comparatives and metrics. It also discusses the concept of work demand based on some teaching strategies proposed for assigning meaning to some concepts connected to chemical solutions. Redution of tasks demand aims at achieving high levels of transference and application of concepts related to solutions in the context of chemistry and beyond. The importance of mechanisms such as assimilation and accommodation in the search for new mental states of equilibrium for the individual processes of knowledge construction is also highlighted.
