The purpose of Venezuelan curriculum is form teenagers with historical consciousness and identity, capable of contributing to the solution of local and regional problems, to achieve it is necessary have a teacher updated in the teaching of local history. This research have as principal purpose the develop of historical reconstruction of the Paracotos community from the perspective of geographic and historical approach for pedagogical use in General Secondary Education. Specific objectives are: (a)-interpret the history of the Paracotos community, through the use of theoretical and methodological tools which are provide by local and regional history and focus geohistorical. (b) Reconstructing history of Paracotos through cartograms under the approach geohistorical. This research is framed into of project feasible of documental base mode. This research contributes to satisfy the absence of the Paracotos history and the upgrading of teachers in teaching of local history.
