In the plot “Los Anaucos”, the sediment movement has caused the loss of the main means of communication, leaving without transport step of its inhabitants. Hence the research is intended to, specify the physicochemical characteristics of the debris and the dynamics of the sliding. The methodology was executed in three phases: (a) Field, to collect surface sediment sample; (b) laboratory, allows the determination of physicochemical parameters of the sediment, and (c) office or analysis of results. It states that the sliding material is a product of weathering of schist quartz- moscovíticos, “Las Mercedes” formation, has a high rate of dispersion, low organic carbon content and low organic matter, what exposed in strong slope, causing high susceptibility to mass wasting processes during activation of the rainy season.
