The “conuqueros” and farmers in the watershed of the Quebrada El Diablo, Anzoategui state, made inappropriate agricultural practices on hillsides with steep slopes.To improve the task of the field and acquire new knowledge in the area agroecological proposed Environmental Education program. A workshop was held to determine the conceptions about agricultural practices. We determined the message, content and educational strategies. A handbook to facilitate the program and validated by experts. The topics covered are: (1) Basics: Elements of Agroecosystem, (2 ) How do conserve water resources ? , (3) Soil basis of life, (4 ) Competition for resources and (5) Enemies in agriculture? Finally, the manual closing activity presented as a framework to identify the elements of the agroecosystem and the importance of sustainability.
