This work aims to recognize the cultural autonomy of the indigenous community Kariña in the climatological context, through the appreciation of diversity of ancestral knowledge. In this regard, 100 farms randomly distributed in 11 communities surveyed, the variables studied were: experience of the producer; residence of the producer; legal regime of land exploitation; farm size and the ability to associate in community organizations , resorted to principal component analysis (PCA) for the interpretation of the data, using the type of biomarker as classification criteria. Were identified: the Cabañuelas, tailed bird (Tyrannus savana), Buzzer (Tettigades chilensis) and lunar phases as bio indicators climate. The results allowed recreating, rebuilding and enhancing local knowledge in daily practice in the weather forecast for crop management, generating rural education.
