LUQUE, Beatriz. Methodology for the creation of a sign language laboratory. Revista de Investigación [online]. 2014, vol.38, n.83, pp.81-110. ISSN 1010-2914.
The creation of a Venezuelan Sign Language Laboratory (LSV) is presented to overcome the need for physical space for teaching, research and extension activities. General objective: to create a LSV Laboratory. Specific objectives: to diagnose the need, to determine the feasibility and to provide the necessary furniture and equipment to the lab. The research was a feasible project. The sample: LSV researchers, graduate and undergraduate students, public and private institutions. Diagnostic phases results: researchers and graduate students do not have suitable space and equipment for the development of their work; courses are administered in inadequate classrooms; a lab with high-tech equipment meets their requirements. Feasibility phases results: the allocation of space and budget for the creation of the LLSV in the IPC. Implementation phases results: film and projection rooms, a Gesell Chamber, a computer room and equipment required.
