At present the educational event shoud be characterized by its dynamism. If we centre the attention in the rural environment, it observed that it is integrated by persons of diverse ages who have the same interest with regard to the economic activity that personal goals develop, different knowledge, between others. The purpose was to develop an instructional material on participatory rural community, it is based on the interpretive paradigm, with descriptive, ethnographic methodology of field, with analysis of content. Participants were free agents and key informants. The results were: the use of the material, participatory tools are a collective way to update knowledge; visual materials allowed detecting needs and technical support to critical areas; they created immediate actions, and reoriented agricultural community work.
