The aim of this paper is to present the aristotelian concept of eudaimonía (happiness), emphasizing the relationship underlying the two ideals of life presented by Aristotle as candidates eudaimonía namely, active life and theoretical life. The type of investigation is documentary. The method of investigation developed was bibliographic arching of theoretical- reflexive nature and the type of analysis, philosophical.The aristotelian eudaimonía, is found in recognition of man as a being that by having logos, is able to give himself a configuration that becomes a life project. Studying this theory of the good life, it is concluded that within the definition of eudaimonía, namely an activity of the rational soul in accordance with virtue, is an invitation to every man to take charge of ones life orienting perfectibility that allows us our own nature.
