The talent management is a management philosophy of values, beliefs, roles, organizations, society. The research assesses why organizations are slow to take and develop management changes. It is a model of talent management in educational organizations. Descriptive research, field, method feasible project, part of the quantitative paradigm, not experimental, trans. The population was 20 State Authority schools in the municipality San Cristóbal; reporting units were 431 teachers, 40 directors. The survey was used to collect data. The instruments were validated by expert judgment; reliability with Cronbachs alpha. being 0.95. Needs were evident in the dimensions management, human talent and corporate work. It was concluded that the administrative process of inserting the human component, depending on individual skills and organizational objectives, is not given in an appropriate way, justifying the design of a model of talent management.
