LOPEZ, Hernán; OROPEZA, Ismael  e  BETANCOURT, Catalina. Determination of the concentration of calcium, magnesium and potassium in liquid milk of three trademarks, using the atomic spectroscopy technique . Revista de Investigación [online]. 2017, vol.41, n.90, pp.120-133. ISSN 1010-2914.

Were determined the calcium, magnesium and potassium concentrations in liquid milk of three commercial brands, using the technique of atomic spectroscopy. Linearity of the data is shown in the three calibration curves for each metal, with a value of R2 = 0.9999 for Ca; 0.9989 for Mg and 0.9996 for K. The concentrations obtained were as follows: brand A: Ca: 126.63 mg; Mg: 14.75 mg; K: 114.78 mg, brand B: Ca: 104.77 mg; Mg: 11.95 mg; K: 122.37 mg and brand C: Ca: 66.80 mg; Mg: 8.46 mg; K: 99.70 mg per 100 mL of milk sample per each brand. When compared with the parameters established by the National Institute of Nutrition, it is appreciated that they are below the established. The recovery percentages of each metal in mark A were: Ca: 104.92%, Mg: 97.47% and K: 108.03%. These percentages of the doped sample are within the established range 85% -115%, which reflect acceptable accuracy.
