To analyze the reported investigation production in the abstracts books or reports of the Sessions of Investigating Junior of the UPEL Maracay accomplished from 1996 until 2005 was the objective of the present investigation advance. The methodology that was used corresponds to an investigation of documental type; they were checked all projects abstracts presented in 10 (ten) editions. The technique of content analysis was used to examine the information of the summary of each one of the projects exposed as lectures. This was done in order to identify the key words that served of indicators to organize the group categories of the projects in three initial interest aspects: (to) knowledge area; (b) problem or need of study, and (c) educational level. The results of the analysis permit to appreciate that were approached various knowledge areas, the level for the one which was accomplished the greater quantity of studies is  that of education superior and the greater interest problem is associated with the use of strategies for the learning in the different disciplines. It is suggested to continue checking the productivity of the junior researchers as well as those of other investigation activities that are accomplished in the UPEL in order to visualize and to define actions and political more adequate to increase the investigative occupation in the academic community of the IPMAR.
