This a documental researchs advances about teaching Geography for the new times and it arises from the problematic produces by the lack of implementation of learning strategies that could promotes a pleasant, collaborative, solving problems class, that it restrict to adapt itself to the quali-quantitative changes of the Venezuelan educative process. One of the problems confronted by teaching Geography is, fundamentally, the lack of sufficient motivation in the students, as a results of teacher centered classes, inadequate teaching strategies that dont allows to integrate each student in the school work. Furthermore, the excessive focus in descriptions and memorize facts, copies, surcharges of tasks, rigidity and slant of the programs, whose do not pay attention to the expectations of the children, beside the deficient methodology of novel lessons in agreement with the historical-social changes of the country. This proposal focus in a more dynamic teaching, integrated to the specific reality of the student, it takes him or her to internalize the subjects of Social Science. Particularly we insisted on locating the teaching of Geography as part of the educative changes of the country, with emphasis in new methodology, contents and strategies of teaching this area. The circumstances and exigencies of a changing world demand a better preparation to accede in equal terms to the technical-scientists requirements of this society, the teacher is the center of these innovations, his or her daily contact with the classroom compromise them to a theorical -methodologic knowledge of the subjects that contributes to an innovating class in this discipline and whose aims looks to locate us in the experiential field of the educative task.
