In this research the duality mind/body underlying in the Venezuelan school is analyzed, presenting it as an impossible logic given the complexity of human act, where the corporal and mental components converge in each human being. The research was developed in the light of the Merleau-Ponty’s ideas of chiasm, corporality and uniduality which helped to represent the way we learn and teach not only al school but also outside it. This is a qualitative and interpretative research based on the analysis of interviews applied to a group of university students and teachers from different levels and specialties, also some written and filmed school vignettes - registered by the author - were also examined. From the data analysis arose seven categories which have a deep influence in the building of corporality. This process is seen as a common and share task of all educators.
