In this article some applications of technological packages are shown for data analysis in mathematics education research. A documentary study was made, from as the technological packages are classified according to the criteria of authors Algarabel y Sanmartín, Valles, Buendía, Colás y Hernández. It is taken into account the types from packages and how they are classified according to theirs functions. For the quantitative data analysis, it is focused more in the used statistical packages, their features and criteria for the selection of the package. As far as the qualitative data analysis, are to the advantages and limitations as well as the tasks to make in the analysis of data. For both cases are practical applications in mathematics education research; which could help to seniors and juniors researchers in the data processing.
