ISSN 1011-2251.

Mathematics classroom is considered as a micro-society where the building and diffusion of mathematical knowledge takes place through the social interactions between the teacher and the students. Therefore, mathematics learning is conditioned by different mathematical and didactical meta-knowledge. In this paper we first summarize the theoretical notions used to study the norms that rule the social construction of mathematical knowledge, in particular socio-mathematical norms and didactic contract.  We then propose a global approach to study the meta-didactical dimension of mathematics teaching and learning processes, by using some notions of the onto-semiotic approach to mathematical knowledge and instruction

Palavras-chave : mathematical and socio-mathematical norms; didactical contract; meta-contract; normative dimension; mathematics education; onto-semiotic approach.
